How our Process Works

When contacted for a FEES evaluation, we strive to make your job as easy and as seamless as possible;

We typically start the conversation with Q & A.

Scheduling: We coordinate directly with your facility (SNF, LTACH, Hospital, or ENT Office) and find a time that works for the patient and your care team.

On-Site Setup: We bring all the necessary high-tech equipment including the endoscope and a portable monitor directly to the patient’s room or your clinic space. There is no need for you to coordinate transportation or wait weeks for a hospital radiology slot.

The Evaluation: The patient remains in their natural sitting or reclining position. After a quick setup, we guide them through various food and liquid consistencies while recording the video.

Immediate Collaborative Results: We encourage your facility SLP to be present during the endoscopic swallow study. If so, we can review the results together and provide a comprehensive report and plan of care right then and there. This allows the facility SLP and nursing staff to implement safe feeding strategies immediately.
